About me

I’m a designer based in Richmond, VA with a career built across visual design, UX/UI, service design, and leadership. I focus on solving complex problems, building strong partnerships, and creating experiences that drive real results for users and businesses.

My recent work is rooted in my time at Capital One, where I have had the opportunity to tackle complex, high-impact challenges with both customer and employee experiences. Some highlights include:

  • Shaping the future of recruiting by defining how recruiters and candidates experience hiring.
  • Empowering agents to better assist customers during critical service moments.
  • Optimizing engineering practices to reduce overhead, enable simultaneous contributions, and maintain a cohesive front-end experience.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across many layers of design — from defining future-state visions to leading cross-functional teams to rolling up my sleeves to deliver strong, hands-on solutions. I’m always looking for new ways to approach design challenges and push work forward through collaboration, craft, and curiosity.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me staying hands-on — building furniture for my home, snowboarding, smoking BBQ, or coaching my son’s sports teams. I believe great design (and a great life) comes from staying curious, getting your hands dirty, and always finding new ways to grow.
